Hello

We know that

P(A) = 1 - P(A')

 

Putting in equation

P(A)/P(A') = 3/5

5 P(A) = 3 P(A')

5 (1 - P(A')) = 3 P(A')

5 - 5 P(A') = 3 P(A')

5 = 3 P(A') + 5 P(A')

5 = 8 P(A')

5/8 = P(A')

P(A') = 5/8
